Finding the Right Image

You have your news article written and proofread, and you’re ready to post it on your website except you still can’t think of an image. We can help.

• First of all, every site has 1-4 generic default images available for times like these. When you are in the ‘Add or Select Media’ window, search ‘default’ to see all available department-specific default image options.
• If you need a campus shot or other UArizona imagery, log in to the Digital Asset Library and search ‘campus’.
• There are many good sources of copyright-free images online. Try pexels, unsplash or pixabay.
• If you’re really stuck, send in a ticket and we can help. For instance, say you frequently have posts for book publications but can’t always get a nice photo of the material, we can work together on a generic book image specifically for your department that will work for future posts as well.
