Why use a password manager?

As our digital footprint increases, we must remember hundreds and hundreds of passwords. If you struggle to remember many passwords like me, I highly recommend using a password manager. What is a password manager? A password manager is a software application designed to store and manage online credentials. Additionally, a password manager can help generate strong passwords and store them in an encrypted database. Imagine your passwords being locked in a vault only you have the key to. A password manager is very beneficial as you won’t have to memorize all your passwords, you can auto-generate strong passwords, save time, and ultimately protect your accounts. My favorite password manager to use would be Bitwarden. Bitwarden is a free, open-source password manager that generates, saves, and can autofill passwords across all platforms and fully encrypts your data; even the Bitwarden team can’t unlock your data.
